EFT Specialist

Ruesch International is recruiting for a Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Specialist for its Outgoing Payments Department within the Operations Group.  The position is located at our North American Headquarters in Washington, DC. Responsibilities

The EFT Specialist is responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing payments are processed in accordance with Ruesch policy and procedures. Specifically this position will:

  1. Monitor work flow to ensure all incoming and outgoing payments are processed within established deadlines in order to meet client expectations
  2. Work with the Information Technology Department and Ruesch’s banking partners to resolve formatting, communication and/or validation issues
  3. Complete the Daily Task Log to ensure all assigned tasks for the department are completed prior to the established deadline
  4. Identify opportunities for improving efficiency within the department
  5. Work closely with the Cash Management Department regarding account funding issues
  6. Provide input and assist the Outgoing Payments Supervisor in establishing and streamlining processes/procedures, compiling reports, and managing the quality and timeliness of all deliverables
  7. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  2. Knowledge of financial services regulatory environment
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and other business software applications
  4. Strong organizational skills; effective in prioritizing work and following through on commitments
  5. Strong interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  6. Strong customer service attitude
  7. Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic and changing environment
  8. Strong analytical skills with effective problem solving abilities
  9. Strong attention to detail
  10. High degree of initiative; highly motivated self starter
  11. Ability to work and participate in a team oriented environment
