Ruesch International is recruiting Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) to join its global sales team selling cutting edge, real time global business payments systems. The positions will be located in our Boston and Washington, DC offices. Responsibilities

  1. Understand currency markets and how Ruesch’s products and services apply to business and create value for the customer
  2. Engage via the phone with financial professionals within (CFO, Treasurer, and Controller) commercial businesses to understand their Business Payments needs both domestically and internationally
  3. Proactively seek new business opportunities to ensure that daily/monthly sales targets are achieved to meet company expectations
  4. Find prospects, understand their needs, present our solution via the phone and web, gain commitment, close and grow business through effective account management
  5. Maintain up-to-date prospects and sales activity data using our Customer Relationship Management system
  6. Teaming with Marketing, research the territory and agree on a demand generation activity aligned to territory plan that produces sufficient qualified opportunities to achieve monthly sales goals
  7. Design and implement prospecting campaigns and activities e.g. calling days, targeted direct marketing, and Association networking
  8. Identify and manage large opportunities while building a run rate of medium/small opportunities within the territory
  9. Measure progress against the plan and develop/implement remediation plans to remain on track to achieve the plan

Requirements

  1. Minimum 1 year of experience within a business-to-business sales environment
  2. Experience with solution selling, preferably in the finance, IT or related industries
  3. Experience lead generating through customer prospecting to C-level professionals (cold calling)
  4. Proven ability to assess client needs and put together a presentation for the client that addresses and meets their requirements
  5. Proven ability to close a sale through track record of sales results
  6. High degree of self motivation combined with time management skills
  7. High degree of professionalism, with a confident, assertive style and tenacity to deliver
  8. Ability to understand and negotiate with customers in relations to fees, products and services
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  10. Results oriented with proven ability to meet goals and objectives
  11. Financial aptitude
  12. Can work productively in an office environment
  13. Strong references – previous employers and customers
  14. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
