| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Washington, DC—October 17, 2006—Ruesch International, Inc., a leading provider of global payment solutions and services headquartered in Washington, DC is pleased to announce that Ryan Taibel, Director of the IP Division at Ruesch International, will be hosting a topic and discussion session at the Intellectual Property (IP) Retreat in New Orleans, LA, on October 19th, 2006. The IP Retreat is a premier industry event, offered by the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA). The conference focuses on emerging trends within Intellectual Property law, and provides a unique forum for professionals in the industry to exchange ideas. The subject of Ryan’s discussion, “Understanding Foreign Exchange Issues,” addresses a specific area of financial concern for IP law firms. Foreign exchange payables and receivables have a direct impact on a law firm’s bottom line; consistent, effective management of foreign cash flows is critical to maximize firm profitability. Ryan will outline the increasingly complex accounting and operational issues that confront IP firms, and will also discuss key features to look for in a specialist payment provider or bank. In keeping with the educational purpose of the retreat, attendees are eligible for up to 11 CPE credits, through the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. Attendees are also being encouraged to participate in the conference community service project held on October 18th, to help beautify and restore New Orleans’ historic City Park. “The ALA IP Retreat is a fantastic educational event for Intellectual Property law firm professionals,” says Ryan Taibel. “I’m excited for the opportunity to discuss foreign exchange and international payment issues that conference attendees encounter every day.” About Ruesch International About the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA)
